The 2015 John Deere Green Fever Sweepstakes winner, Crystal Kasper, was announced on May 29. Kasper, who resides in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., will receive $25,000 to use for a landscape makeover as well as a John Deere Gator 625i.
Kasper was given the opportunity to choose a new John Deere Gator as a part of the grand prize. She had the option of a Ztrack mower, 1 Family tractor or Signature Series RLE. In the end, Kasper went with the John Deere Gator 625i to complement her prize money.
“I look forward to having a lot of fun with it this summer and for years to come,” Kasper said.
Kasper was selected as the winner after completing an online sweepstakes entry form during the four-month program, which kicked off the company’s annual product sales promotion. She has since stated that she has numerous plans for her property with the $25,000 prize money.
“I have one side of my yard that I have not used in three years and always wanted to create this amazing outdoor retreat area,” Kasper said. “I think I’ll put down pavers, add some nice shrubbery along the edges, put in a waterfall and get some neat outdoor furniture paired with nice lighting. It’ll make it a nice, quiet place to read and relax.”
The Green Fever Giveaway Sweepstakes was a part of the annual Green Fever sales period. This segment is held between the months of November and February. Throughout the promotion, there were monthly winners selected for the contest. John Deere customers also received discounts and financing incentives on select equipment.
