In an effort to make site preparation easier for landscapers, John Deere announced on March 15 that it has added the Extreme Duty Brush Cutter attachment to its line of Worksite Pro attachments.

The Extreme Duty Brush Cutter can be used with John Deere E- and D-Series skid steers, compact track loaders and other competitive models.

"Like all Worksite Pro attachments, the Extreme Duty Brush Cutter will optimize job site performance and productivity," said Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager of John Deere Construction & Forestry. "We designed this attachment with smart features to quickly clear heavy brush and keep the operator safe, so he or she can focus on the task at hand without worry of flying debris."

The Extreme Duty Brush Cutter has the ability to cut heavy brush and trees up to even inches in diameter. It also has four double beveled-edge blades and stump-grinding teeth for stump removal. Its mower deck funnels brush and trees off to the corner for maximum blade performance.

Additionally, it has a vertical motor with a heavy-duty spline shaft for increased performance. The pressure gauge indicator is also in a highly visible location for the operator.

In December 2015, John Deere also added a new piece of equipment to its Worksite Pro attachment collection. The Nursery Fork, also known as the NF44, was introduced to help customers easily transport and position balled or container trees.
