John Deere has announced new additions to its Worksite Pro ™ attachment lineup, which include the D-Series cold planers.
The attachments were created for customers interested in performing street repairs, matching uneven pavement surfaces, and cutting drainage around parking lots. They can be used with skid steers, compact track loaders and compact wheel loaders for more efficiency.
"All John Deere Worksite Pro attachments are designed to increase the versatility and productivity of any compact machine," said Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager at John Deere Construction & Forestry. "Hydraulic-drive tools, like the new cold planers, are available in both standard and high-flow variations, giving operators the exact amount of power they need to get more work done."
John Deere’s new D-Series models (CP12D, CP18D, CP24D and CP30D) are also designed for improved performance and productivity, delivering up to 10 percent more cut rate than their predecessors. They have an angled soil guard design that prevents the wheels from riding up and over millings.
Increased weight on the new models ensures that the planer stays in place. This increases the odds of a smoother cut, and the planing-drum mounting allows for closer planing near curbing.
The universal, self-cleaning Quik-Tatch™ attachment system is available on all John Deere skid steers, CTLs and compact excavators as well.
