The fifth annual Quad Cities Area Heritage Tractor Parade and Show is scheduled to be hosted at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, Illinois on September 9. The pavilion, which is located near Deere’s original Moline plow factory, has 14,000 square feet of space for hands-on exhibits and educational events.

The Quad Cities Area Heritage Tractor Parade and Show will feature a wide range of antique tractors and equipment for visitors to view. There will also be blacksmith demonstrations for learning purposes, and the event is being held in honor of the 20th anniversary of the John Deere Pavilion.

Since the pavilion opened in 1997, more than 3.5 million people from around the world have visited the venue. The space, which is open to the public year-round, is designed to provide people with insight into Deere’s heritage and history.

“Visitors to the John Deere Pavilion that day will see some remarkable pieces of equipment on display and hear the stories and experiences of collectors,” said Brigitte Tapscott, manager of the John Deere Attractions. “Heritage equipment fans are a very dedicated and passionate group of enthusiasts. This event is an opportunity for collectors to showcase their pride and joy.”

This year’s Quad Cities Area Heritage Tractor Parade will begin at 10 a.m. in front of the John Deere Pavilion. The tractors will eventually circle back to the venue, where they will be on display for the rest of the event. More information can be found at www.VisitJohnDeere.com.
