John Deere has announced that it will soon be launching new fairway mower options with improved budget control - the John Deere 6080A, 6500A and 6700A PrecisionCutâ„¢ Fairway Mowers. These models have the same mower technologies as the A Model family of fairway, rough and trim and surrounds mowers from John Deere. They were specifically designed with budget control in mind.

All three models have powerful 24.7 horsepower diesel engines, three-wheel smooth tire configurations, and enhanced comfort features for those long days on the job.

"With tight operating budgets and increasing labor costs, our customers needed a cost-effective solution to get the job done," said Brad Aldridge, product manager with John Deere Golf. "With this in mind, we challenged ourselves to design a machine that boosts productivity and maintains quality of cut while keeping costs down, and we've done that with the 6080A, 6500A and 6700A Models."

The 6080A mower has 18-inch cutting units that provide an 80-inch width of cut. The 6500A and 6700A both have 22 cutting units that offer a 100-inch width of cut. All of the mowers operate at a speed of eight miles per hour, allowing users to cover more area in less time with the utmost precision.

Other features the models come with include internal hydraulic wet disk brakes, and a traction drive system that requires only one type of fluid for maintenance.
