Attendees of the 2013 AgGateway mid-year meeting will have the opportunity to directly influence eBusiness’ evolving role in the agricultural industry by participating in discussions regarding supply chain efficiencies in multiple sectors. This is according to a recent AgGateway press release.

The 2013 AgGateway mid-year meeting, held June 17–20 at the John Deere Financial Facility in Johnston, Iowa, will allow farmers and other agricultural industry processionals to voice their opinions about implementing supply chain efficiencies in agriculture sectors such as precision agriculture, seed, grain, feed, crop nutrition, and crop protection, as well as for agriculture retail companies. Discussions could, in turn, result in improved products for farmers and agriculture producers.

AgGateway CEO Rod Conner, says in the press release, “Members and non-members alike should attend to learn from others who are seeing the immense benefits of electronic connectivity between trading partners. For our members, this is a great opportunity to strengthen business relationships by inviting colleagues and trading partners to help them determine how they could benefit from participation in AgGateway.”

The event (which is now open for registration) offers attendees the opportunity to discuss eBusiness’ evolving role in agriculture while networking and becoming more educated on the topics at hand.
