The Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion (WMSTR) is set to take place in Rollag, Minnesota, over Labor Day weekend, as farm equipment will line the streets of the Midwestern town, according to the Detroit Lakes Library.

There are a variety of events and exhibits that take place at the annual event, as visitors can travel back in time and learn about the history of farming machinery with the many types of restored and used farm equipment that are available, reported the news source.

Many of the WMSTR members have put significant time into restoring their machinery, as these individuals love only one thing more than maintaining their equipment and that is telling young visitors the ins and outs of these vintage tractors, Detroit Lakes Library reported.

One of the highlighted parts of the event is an exhibit that is devoted to a book about antique tractors and their history in agriculture. Featuring an extensive look at a variety of older models, including early John Deere tractors, the book was given rave reviews by the WMSTR members, according to the news source.

More than 500 photographs of older tractors are featured in the pages of the tractor guide, Amazon reported.
