John Deere has recently announced the launch of the John Deere WorkSight Fuel Advantage program, which will apply to 47 pieces of construction equipment. The goal of the program is to help contractors work more efficiently.

The John Deere WorkSight Fuel Advantage program will pay back participants if their machines don’t meet target consumption rates. This means that individuals will receive a $1.00 USD/CAD credit per gallon/liter above target if their annual GPH/LPH fuel consumption goes over the program target fuel and consumption level.

“John Deere WorkSight is about bringing together machines, technology, and John Deere dealers to make the contractor’s job easier,” Liz Quinn, product marketing manager of John Deere WorkSight, said in a news release. “The launch of the Fuel Advantage program not only provides assured fuel consumption targets, but rewards our customers for meeting with their dealer. It’s about providing our customers confidence and peace of mind with their fuel efficiency.”

Program members will also be able to use JDLink to receive quarterly reports on their machine performance. They can access fuel consumption data, engine load utilization information and more, showing where there is room for efficiency improvement.

“We want to help contractors find even more ways to save money,” Quinn continued. “Continual dialogue with their dealer will give contractors a better understanding of their equipment, fuel consumption, and John Deere WorkSight machine optimization capabilities. It’s a win-win.”

Machines that are purchased or leased between November 2, 2015, and August 31, 2016.
