Farminguk.com reports a newly manufactured John Deere tractor is a two-wheel drive machine.

As part of the 5E range of utility tractors, the 5055E is a 55 horsepower tractor and the sole model of the line that is not four-wheel drive. But the 5055E was manufactured with specifications that make it essentially the same as the 5055E, 5065E and 5075E models, all of which are four-wheel drive.

Enhanced maneuverability is a feature of the small, lighter 5055E. Potential niches for the tractor include dairy farms, which can employ it for utility, front loader or scraper tractor purposes. The 5055E also be used as an all-purpose tractor for local authorities.

Goodyear tires are installed on the front and rear of the 5055E, which has a Tier III intercooled three-cylinder John Deere PowerTech M engine. A turbocharger and a viscous fan are traits of that motor.

The 5055E can park on slopes thanks to its park brakes. The maximum lift height is 3.38 meters and the capacity it can lift is 1.8 tons.

As a safety measure, the 5055E is equipped with a fitted roll-over frame. A two-post sun protection canopy is an option.
