Though American farmers often realize the benefits of the innovation from John Deere after they have used farm equipment, the timing of fairs and award shows in the U.S. does not always coincide with the rest of the world.

According to Stackyard.com, John Deere's latest award winning round baler and forage harvester technology will be featured at Grassland UK 2012 to give British farmers a chance to see what their American counterparts have been using in their fields.

The event highlights the revolutionary Fast Release System (FRS) that is featured on new 9000 Series variable chamber round balers. This innovation employs a unique "curtain" design that replaces a heavy rear door and makes operations easier for the owner, according to the news source.

A release from the company noted that this type of innovation earned John Deere an award at a trade fair in Spain, as the "curtain" door was recognized due to its ability to save an operator one minute for every six bales that are produced.
