According to a recent company news release, John Deere has introduced upgrades to three models on the G-Series excavator line that have been made to cut daily costs and increase productivity for operators of the equipment.

Three G-Series excavator line models (250G LC, 350G LC, and 380G LC) are now equipped with a powerful Final Tier 4 engine and meet the strictest emissions standards, providing customers with higher productivity, increased uptime, and lower daily operating costs.

The 250G LC features a 188 hp certified Final Tier 4 John Deere PowerTech PVS 6.8L engine. Both the 350G LC and 380G LC boast a rugged certified Final Tier 4 John Deere PowerTech PSS 9.0L engine with horsepower at 271 hp (350G LC) and 271 hp (380G LC). The improved Final Tier 4 Technology enabled John Deere to maintain or reduce total fluid consumption, reducing operating costs substantially.

Mark Wall, excavator product marketing manager, John Deere Construction & Forestry, said about the new machines in the release, "When developing the new G-Series Final Tier 4 models, we wanted to maintain the excellent features that John Deere excavators were known for while still evolving the line to reflect the needs and standards of the industry. By adding an arsenal of new features, as well as design and functionality improvements, we were able to offer customers an excavator that increases performance and productivity, without compromising on sightlines and service access."

Thanks to these latest upgrades the 250G LC, 350G LC, and 380G LC John Deere excavators will likely lower operating costs and increase uptime for customers.
