John Deere will be among more than 1,500 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment at the 47th annual “World Ag Expo” on February 11-13, 2014 in Tulare, California.

The World Ag Expo is considered the largest annual agricultural exposition of its kind, with 2.6 million square feet of show grounds and an estimated average of 100,000 individuals from 70 countries in attendance to learn about the latest advances in agriculture. The show will include more than 40 seminars offering information on beef, dairy, hay and forage, international trade, irrigation and general agricultural categories.

The “World Ag Expo Arena” is a new addition in 2014 that can be found in the southwest area of the grounds. It will host daily exhibitor showcases, allowing attendees to watch the show from the comfort of their seats as exhibitors drive their equipment past.

Show Chairman Stephen Cunha, said about this year’s event in a recent Capital Press article, “We’re filled up again this year. All exhibit spaces are filled and we have a waiting list.” Cunha, grew up on a pistachio farm in the Tulare-area and added, “The first year I farmed on my own, a neighbor came by and said we were going to volunteer to help at the farm show. I went and have been back every year since.”

Tickets for the event can be bought at the gate for $15 or online. Attendees at this year’s show will be exposed to thousands of exhibitors showcasing the latest in agricultural equipment and technology across millions of square feet of show space.
