A guest columnist from Golf Course Industry recently attended the 6th Annual Green Start Academy, an event co-hosted by John Deere that provides superintendents with the latest industry tips for maintaining a course.

The director of golf maintenance operations at TPC Deere Run in East Moline, Illinois, outlined the latest tips that he and his staff used for upkeep. Development and sustainability measures for courses were discussed, along with a brief history of the improvements that have occurred in technology and how they can be utilized, Golf Course Industry reported.
