The Long Island Antique Power Association (LIAPA) held its 19th annual Tractor Pull this past weekend, as attendees from all over the state came to show their support for their favorite brands of the vehicles, according to the Riverhead News Review.

The Hallockville Museum Farm on Sound Avenue in Riverhead, New York, hosted the event, and the unique location allowed for maximum exposure to the various types of tractors that were entered into the competition, the news source reported.

After the competition part of the day ended, Joe Velasquez of Calverton gave spectators hay wagon rides using his 1949 John Deere Model B tractor and the significant towing capabilities that come with the vehicle, according to the news source.

Several different models of John Deere tractors were on display at the competition, as kids and adults of all ages participated in joyrides around the course. New versions of the famous models of the farm equipment are available, including the revamped 7R series, the company website reported.
