Golf courses around the world rely on top-notch machines to keep fairway grass short and greens as lush as possible, and for those who have used John Deere equipment, these goals become a little easier.

PitchCare magazine reported that the Mid-Yorkshire Golf Club recently acquired 14 pieces of John Deere equipment to help with course maintenance.

The choices were made by the greenskeeping staff, and John Deere products were selected because of the efficiency associated with these machines.

"They also made sure we chose the right machines for the course - for example they suggested we use the 2500B greens mower on the tees and surrounds, rather than a utility mower, as it's more manoeuvrable and gives a better quality finish. It was that overall level of customer service that we were looking for - the whole package on offer from Bob Wild came out on top by a country mile," the head groundskeeper told the news source of the help he received in selecting the equipment.

According to the company website, the new greens and fairway mowers from John Deere come with the revolutionary Speed Link System, allowing for a quick reel adjustment and improved results.
