The Stearns County Police Department is investigating a series of farm equipment thefts that occurred in the area last week, and is advising residents to be on the lookout for an individual who may strike again, according to the Stearns County Times.

In Lake George Township a 22-foot John Deere Model 680 Chisel Plow was taken from a field, and the owner and operator of this vehicle reported the crime the following day.

A separate incident occurred in Ashley Township, as an air compressor, a generator, a hydraulic cylinder and a cement towel were taken from the property, according to the Times.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Stearns County Sheriff's Office are investigating the crimes, which may have been linked due to the nature and proximity of the incidents, reported the news source.

Tractor House reports that the John Deere Model 680 Chisel Plow is 27 feet wide and comes with double point shovels for 12-inch spacing and a level life hitch. The used farm equipment is typically more than $15,000, depending on the year and additions.
