A Montville, New Jersey company won election to the John Deere Supplier Hall of Fame for achieving partner-level supplier status for five straight years, according to a press release.

AST Bearings was bestowed the partner-level honor for 2010, achieving the honor as part of the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program.

"AST is very proud to have been awarded this prestigious honor by one of our valued customers," according to Dale Kaminski, the chief executive of AST Bearings. "Our goal is to provide all of our customers 'value beyond the part.'"

Kaminski, vice president Dan Fox and regional sales manager Mark Davis accepted the awards on March 1 in Davenport, Iowa.

As the globe's biggest manufacturer of agricultural and farming machinery, John Deere produces equipment like John Deere scrapers, John Deere sprayers and other equipment that can be found at John Deere dealerships.

"In this regard, the awards we received from Deere demonstrate how AST continues to improve the ways in which we partner with our customers to develop measurable solutions in an efficient and cost-effective way," Kaminski said.
