As one of the top-featured items at Friday and Saturday's 19th Annual Ollie Liner Antique Tractor and Plainview Radio Farm Show, the 1969 John Deere 1020 tractor is sure to attract the attention of many used John Deere tractor fans. Hosted by the Texas Plains Two Cylinder Club, the fairs hours are noon to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Activities and games will entertain the fair's younger attendees.

Organizers of the fair intend to award prizes for assorted tractor categories, such as most unique farm equipment and people's choice. The fair plans to recognize the oldest tractor, the oldest engine and the most exhibits for farm equipment.

Two additional prizes will be bestowed to the farthest distance traveled and the farthest distance engine.

The Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum, which is overseeing concessions, is handing out grand prize drawings. Children also will be eligible for a John Deere pedal tractor and a John Deere children's bicycle.
