More than 150 vehicles were assembled for the third annual Touch a Truck- Wings, Wheels and Water celebration that was held in Roanoke County, Virgina, according to The Roanoke Times.
An estimated 8,000 to 10,000 people were on hand for the annual event, which featured vehicles that ranged from new police cars to antique John Deere tractors, the news source reported.
Local residents were able to enjoy a variety of food and drink while surveying the many vehicles that were present, including a fire truck that cooled the attendants down by spraying a constant stream of water, reported The Times.
Despite temperatures that reached 100 degrees, young children like Preston Bane were content with the event, as he rode around on an antique tractor from the John Deere company that showcased the area's love for farm equipment, according to the news source.
John Deere tractors are available in many different sizes and models, as the new line of vehicles can house anywhere between 22 horsepower and 543 horsepower, the company website reported.
