The two 16-year-old high school students were arrested after they were allegedly found with a John Deere Gator following a crash that occurred following the robbery. The pair drove the equipment away from the grounds of the school after they were able to cut the machine loose, according to the news source.
WRCB reported that the other property that was stolen by the two individuals has been recovered by the authorities, and school officials are happy to see the Gator vehicle returned to the property.
According to News Channel 9 Cleveland, the two individuals were seen driving around campus in the John Deere Gator vehicle, and authorities were given information about the appearance and actions of the students who were involved because of eyewitness accounts. The news source reported that damage to seats on two school buses and vandalism throughout the property were also recorded by local police.
