For the first time in CES history, an agriculture technology company executive will provide a keynote when John Deere CEO and Chairman John May takes the stage at CES 2023. On Jan. 5, May will discuss purpose-driven sustainability and how technology is helping to feed the global population in his keynote slated for 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST. It will be available to livestream at https://ces2023.deere.com/.

CES 2023, which is taking place in Las Vegas, Nev., highlights the latest innovative technology from companies around the world. John Deere, which has been a part of CES since 2019, remains dedicated to showcasing the latest in agricultural developments.

“[CES] gives us a chance to show how our purpose-driven technology has a huge impact on our customers,” May told GadgetMatch’s Michael Josh Villanueva in an interview. “Our goal is to make our customers more profitable, more productive, and help them do the jobs they do in a more sustainable way. To do that, we’re leveraging the most advanced technologies. CES has had a history of talking about how technology and innovation solves some of the biggest global problems we have, and that fits perfectly with agriculture and feeding the world.”

In a post previously written on LinkedIn, May further elaborated on the importance of technology to Deere as a whole. He noted that one of the company’s goals is to provide its customers with the tools they need to tackle obstacles on their own journeys.

This year, CES 2023 will be held from Jan. 5 to Jan. 8. May’s keynote will be taking place in the Venetian Palazzo Ballroom, in addition to being livestreamed online at https://ces2023.deere.com/.
