Penn State's Ag Progress Days, Pennsylvania's largest outdoor agricultural exposition, is held annually over the course of three days, and this year will be no different. More than 400 exhibitors from the U.S. and Canada are expected to come together to demonstrate the latest in agricultural technology and machinery on Aug. 9th, 10th, and 11th at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center. Admission is free, and there is no cost for parking.

John Deere will be one of the exhibitors at this year's Ag Progress Days event. Located at Booth W519, the company's space will provide insight into combines, harvesters, lawn and garden equipment, planting machinery, precision ag, and tillage machinery.

This year's event will be the forty-sixth in the history of Penn State's Ag Progress Days. Popular features of the event include dozens of crop and machinery demonstrations, acres of indoor and outdoor exhibits, and educational presentations by agricultural experts. There will also be youth and 4-H activities for younger attendees.

"We try to plan an event that reflects the diversity of Pennsylvania's agriculture in a way that provides value for those attendees who rely on the ag industry for their livelihood," said Jesse Darlington, manager of Ag Progress Days.

Penn State's Ag Progress Days will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 9, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 10. On the final day, Aug. 11, the event hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information can be found at agsci.psu.edu/apd.
