35th Greater Peoria Farm Show to Host More than 340 Exhibitors

The 35th Greater Peoria Farm Show will be held from November 29 through December 1 this year at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Ill. There will be more than 340 companies featuring 1,000 product lines at the event.

The show is known to be the largest indoor farm show in Illinois, occupying 90,000 square feet of exhibit space. Over the course of three days, approximately 20,000 people are expected to attend the event.

“This is going to be a great show. Along with more than 340 exhibitors and events, there will be daily and daily seminars scheduled with expert presenters,” said show manager Ron Bormaster. “With all of the support from the community, exhibitors, farmers, and sponsors, the 35th Annual Greater Peoria Farm Show is sure to be the best show yet.”

Educational seminars featured at the event will be led by several experts including Iowa State University agronomist and professor Elwynn Taylor and agriculture technology expert Chad Colby. Topics that will be discussed at the show include crop production, as well as short and long-term weather patterns.

“The Greater Peoria Farm Show is one of the biggest events of the year at the Peoria Civic Center,” Bormaster continued.

There are more than 76,000 farms and 28 million acres of farmland in Illinois. It is a leading producer of soybeans, corn and other specialty crops in the U.S.
