On Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the John Deere Tractor and Engine Museum will host Farm Fun Day where attendees can participate in a range of activities for free.

At this event, kids will be able to see farm animals from Miller’s Petting Zoo and participate in various farm-related activities. All attendees will be able to enjoy live blacksmith demonstrations that will be held throughout the day onsite.

Children will also have an opportunity to complete “chores” on Little Johnny’s Farm, such as cow milking (not on a real animal), to receive “Deere Dollars.” With each dollar, kids can cash in to enter in a special giveaway.

“We are excited to welcome back this event and look forward to creating a day of fun for kids and their families,” said Rosa Grant, Manager of the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum. “All of the play stations we created are designed to keep kids entertained while they learn about activities that happen on a farm. We’ll have opportunities inside and outside our facility to provide plenty of learning and fun for the whole family.”

In light of the theme of the event, kids will be able to test their driving skills in a pedal tractor obstacle course. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a pedal-powered tractor pull.

The John Deere Tractor and Engine Museum is located at 500 Westfield Avenue in Waterloo, Iowa.
