"Beyond providing great insight for growers, this symposium should be the perfect jump start to another successful year in the grape industry," Larry Blagg, Senior Vice President of Marketing for the California Raisin Marketing Board, told the news source.

According to the Press, the half-day event will feature an assortment of presentations such as disease control updates, industry marketing activities and nutrition research. Extended hours will be offered to visitors who wish to learn more about any of the topics that are addressed during the symposium.

The John Deere Gator vehicle will be presented to a lucky winner at the end of the event.

John Deere Gator vehicles allow an individual to traverse even the toughest terrain, as this can be used for a variety of tasks on all types of surfaces, according to the company's website.
