A British John Deere dealership will step up its service after another one sold its interest, according to a published report.

Masons Kings in Cornwall will sell, service and support all John Deere farm equipment after Cornwall Farmers sold its nearby agricultural machinery business. Masons has been dealing machinery for 36 years, selling John Deere agricultural goods for more than 26 years, and it established a professional turf division in 2007.

"We are delighted to be able to expand our business into this new area, which will enable us to offer an even more comprehensive service in the south-west of the country," according to Roger Prior, Masons Kings owner.

The company now plans to continue the tradition of strong service, Prior said.

"We intend to continue providing the same high level of sales, service and parts support to our new customers in Cornwall, be they golf and sports clubs, caravan and holiday parks, local authorities and public amenities, contractors, private landowners or homeowners," he said. "We have a wealth of experience in dealing with a wide range of customers, and our aim is always to offer the best advice, the best equipment and the best value for money."
