The Precision Farming Event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2 at the East of England Showground in Peterborough. It will feature John Deere machinery that makes precision farming far more productive and efficient, according to a published report.

The market's best terrain compensation performance and satellite is believed to be the StarFire 3000, which will be at the fair. The StarFire 3000 also is better equipped for GPS and GLONASS signals and it is more able to catch more faint satellite signals.

Setting a precedent as one of the first to be awarded a certificate for conformity, the John Deere third generation GreenStar 2630 display was scheduled to be at the fair. The ISOBUS 2011 demonstrates how devoted Deere is to ensuring its equipment is compatible with other equipment.

The John Deere GreenStar 2630 Display Documentation software has preinstalled Parallel Tracking manual guidance and ISOBUS VT capability. For upgrades, available options include solutions for implement guidance, iTEC Pro automatic headland management and automatic section control.

A new 2011 8R Series tractor also will be featured. That tractor will be equipped with a GreenStar 3 Command Centre display that employs AutoTrac steering, so it doesn't require an additional display.
