More than 700 vendors from 27 states will be participating in the 2015 Great Bend Farm and Ranch Expo, slated to take place between April 8 and 10 in Great Bend, Kan. The event will be held at the Expo Complex with show hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 9, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 10, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 11.

Participants will not only be coming from across the country, but from around the world, including exhibitors from Canada and Australia. The expo will span over 80 acres, making it one of the largest farm shows in the U.S.

Scott Daily, who has been training horses for more than 20 years, will be demonstrating his talents on all three days of the event. There will also be a KBUF Risk Management and Market Forum featuring KBUF Radio and KSN Television on April 9. The forum will answer agricultural professionals’ questions on how to better manage risk.

Genex Cooperative will also be at the expo, demonstrating chute-side service using portable breeding barns. Demonstrations on seeding and cover crop techniques will also be a part of the event.

“The show staff is excited about the new and exciting activities, seminars and demonstrations that are coming to the 2015 Great Bend Farm and Ranch Expo, said Darren Dale, the owner of the show. “It will be the premier livestock and outdoor farm equipment show in the High Plains. There is something for everyone, come check it out for yourself.”

With the peak farming season fast-approaching, the Great Bend Farm and Ranch Expo serves as a great starting point for livestock and crop producers looking to gear up.
