Amidst all the John Deere green featured at the 2013 National Farm Machinery Show stood a yellow JD 332E skid steer, a versatile piece of construction equipment that can also be used effectively on the farm. This is according to a recent article from AgWired, which includes an interview with Larry Foster, a district sales manager for John Deereā€™s commercial worksite products.

Foster alludes to the new skid steer as a valuable tool that can be used across a variety of applications: landscaping, construction, rental, and, agricultural markets. He says the skid steer is often used by farmers to push and move material. For grain farmers, it can be used to transfer seed boxes, which can be cumbersome and often need to be stored in high places. For hay balers, spikes, spears, and grapples can all be attached to the new skid steer to ease the overall farming process.

Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager of John Deere Construction & Forestry says about the new E-Series models, "The E-Series skid steers and compact track loaders are one of the finest examples of customer-driven product development the John Deere Commercial Worksite Products group has ever offered. We asked hundreds of customers how we could make this equipment better. They told us, and we responded."

The John Deere 332E skid steer may be listed as a construction vehicle, but its versatility across a variety of industries, including agriculture, makes it a unique piece of equipment capable of several different tasks.
