John Deere will join agricultural technology leaders at FIRA USA 2026, taking place October 20-22, 2026, at State Fair Park in Yakima, Washington.
Focused on agricultural robotics, automation, and emerging farm technology, FIRA USA gives growers an opportunity to see new solutions in action and consider how they could fit into their operations. John Deere is participating as a Partner, with a presence in both the Expo and Demo areas.
Attendees visiting the John Deere exhibit will have an opportunity to learn more about precision application technologies, automation solutions, and the role machine vision continues to play in reducing input costs and supporting more targeted crop protection practices.
FIRA USA Comes to Yakima, Washington
The 2026 event marks a new chapter for FIRA USA as the show moves to the Pacific Northwest. The region provides a fitting setting for exploring agricultural innovation, with Washington and the surrounding states supporting a diverse mix of specialty crops and large-scale agricultural production.
This year's event also expands its focus beyond robotics to address additional AgTech topics important to Pacific Northwest growers, including irrigation, harvesting, and canopy management.
Organizers expect more than 2,500 participants and 80 AgTech exhibitors, bringing together growers with technology developers, researchers, and other agricultural professionals.
See Agricultural Technology in Action
Live demonstrations are a major part of the FIRA USA experience. Rather than only viewing new technology in an exhibit setting, growers can watch systems perform tasks in working crop environments.
Daily demonstrations will feature technologies operating across vineyards, orchards, vegetable crops, and field crops. Applications scheduled for the Demo Zone include:
- Precision spraying
- Mechanical weeding
- Seeding
- Autonomous navigation
- Fleet management
Demonstrations are scheduled for:
- Oct. 20: 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Oct. 21: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Oct. 22: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Explore John Deere at FIRA USA
As a Partner for FIRA USA 2026, John Deere will participate in both the event's Expo and Demo areas. This provides attendees with multiple opportunities to learn about the company's approach to precision agriculture and automation.
One technology highlighted by FIRA USA is John Deere See & Spray™ Ultimate, which combines advanced cameras and artificial intelligence to identify weeds in real time and apply herbicide only where needed. This targeted application approach can help reduce herbicide use while maintaining effective weed control.
See & Spray™ Ultimate and the ASABE X665 Test Method
FIRA USA also highlights See & Spray Ultimate in connection with the ASABE X665 test method, providing an opportunity to explore how precision application technology can be evaluated.
For growers considering targeted spraying technology, this type of testing can provide greater insight into system performance and help support informed equipment decisions.
Explore More of FIRA USA 2026
Beyond the demonstration areas, FIRA USA offers programming designed to connect growers with the people developing and implementing new agricultural technologies.
The three-day agenda includes various sessions addressing challenges facing Pacific Northwest agriculture, including:
- Panels
- Roundtables
- Technology pitches
- Working sessions
An Innovation Day will also bring researchers and academic organizations together to discuss emerging developments in agricultural robotics and digital agriculture.
Networking is another major part of the event, with structured matchmaking opportunities connecting farmers with technology companies, researchers, and others across the AgTech industry.
