To upgrade its lineup of G-Series skid steers and compact track loaders, John Deere has announced that it has worked closely with customers to make enhancements that will ultimately boost efficiency within each model.

The 312GR, 314G, 316GR, 317G, and 318G were all introduced to the market more than three years ago, but Deere has not stopped making improvements to these machines along the way. Now, changes to the models will help customers make the most of each workday.

“As we constantly source feedback from our customers, we heard them request minor improvements to the small-frame lineup, such as simplified maintenance, increased visibility and easier connections to attachments,” said Gregg Zupancic, product marketing manager, skid steers and compact track loaders, John Deere Construction & Forestry. “We used this as an opportunity to upgrade our equipment so that it meets their needs and continues to provide quality and performance that our customers expect.”

The G-Series machines can now be equipped with an optional rearview camera and easy-to-clean cab windows for maximum visibility. The cabs also have a new Bluetooth radio option, and the manual control levers feature ergonomic grips for improved comfort.

Protected auxiliary hydraulic lines run within each machine’s boom for additional protection. Customers can also use two sets of counterweights with their model for enhanced stability.

Finally, the 312GR, 314G, 316GR, 317G, and 318G can be equipped with a five-year subscription to JDLink telematics. With this system, operators can view critical information about all of their machines in operation.
