John Deere has announced that it is introducing SmartGrade Remote Support to its lineup of new SmartGrade motor graders, excavators, dozers, and compact track loaders. This will be in addition to current models that feature this technology, including the 700L/750L/850L SmartGrade dozers, the SmartGrade motor graders, the 210G LC and 350G LC SmartGrade excavators, and the compact track loaders. SmartGrade Remote Support has both Remote Display Access (RDA) and Wireless Data Transfer (WDT) and will be available on most SmartGrade products for six years from the factory invoice date. With these features, dealers and customers can remotely transfer project files directly to machines for troubleshooting.
“Offering real-time support to our customers is key, especially when it comes to the Precision Construction lineup,” said Sean Mairet, product manager grade control, John Deere Construction & Forestry. “By incorporating technology like SmartGrade in our excavator lineup, we are helping to boost job site productivity and efficiency while enhancing the capabilities of our operators. There isn’t always a one-size-fits-all solution, and contractors need options to pair the right technology with their business needs. This is where customers really benefit from the flexibility of our grade management path.”
With Wireless Data Transfer, customers can eliminate the need to seek direct support for their machines. Dealers can remotely send updated design files to equipment in less time.
