To help producers achieve maximum harvesting capacity and minimize grain loss, John Deere has updated its entire header lineup for combines to include HDR Rigid Cutterbar Drapers, RDF HydraFlex™ Drapers, CR and CF Corn Heads, and a BP15 Belt Pickup. Each attachment is compatible with John Deere X Series and most S Series and T Series Combines, ensuring enhanced productivity for a wide range of customers.

The John Deere HDR Rigid Cutterbar Drapers can help small grain, oilseed, and soybean growers who are looking to tackle more acres per hour amidst changing conditions.

“The HDR has a new hinged frame that provides unmatched terrain-following capability with twice the wing range as a MacDon® FD1 FlexDraper® with uniform cut height when harvesting on curves or uneven terrain,” said Matt Badding, harvesting product manager for John Deere.

Badding adds that the HDR Draper can help improve the combine’s harvesting capacity and capture more grain out in the field, especially when harvesting down or lodged crops. They are easy to use and can be ordered with optional John Deere Grain Saver Draper Belts.

HDR Drapers are available in cutting widths ranging from 35 feet to 50 feet, allowing producers to bring more crop into their combine with each pass.

The John Deere RDF HydraFlex Drapers were built on the cutting technology of the existing 700FD, all while providing new features designed to reduce grain loss. They also feature a new Two-Speed Center Feed Section that allows operators to slow down the feed drum and center the feed belt by 20%, compared to the 700FD.

CR Rigid Corn Heads can now be equipped with Active End Fenders directly from the factory. They pull more stalks into the head as the combine moves through the field, boosting efficiency. CF Folding Corn Heads include all of the features of the CR Rigid Corn Heads, but also include a low-profile folding frame.

“These heads are ideal for farmers who demand high productivity in the field and easy transport between fields during tight harvest windows,” Badding said.

Finally, the BP15 Belt Pickup for small grain and oilseed growers can be used with an X Series, S Series, or T Series Combine to harvest more acres per hour.
