In an effort to simplify the livestock equipment buying process and increase brand loyalty, John Deere has introduced the Livestock Loyalty Program, which offers existing customers discounts on qualifying future purchases.

As part of the program, John Deere is offering customers that have purchased a qualifying round baler, small square baler or mower conditioner within the last two years $1,000 off a John Deere 5E, 5M, 6D, or 6M or 6R tractor purchase. Additionally, customers that have purchased a John Deere 5E, 5M, 6D, or 6M or 6R within the last two years can get $1,000 off a qualifying round baler, small square baler or mower conditioner.

John Deere states on the program’s page, “We want to help you do the job. But we also want to make sure you’re staying on the right side of your accounting ledger. That’s why we’ve introduced the John Deere Livestock Loyalty Program. It’s a savings program…but also our way of saying thanks for being a dedicated member of the John Deere family.”

Programs such as these have played a large role in Deere’s ability to not only attract new customers, but also keep existing customers coming back for future purchases. Previous stats have shown that that 65 percent of Midwest farmers are “brand loyal” when purchasing tractors, field equipment, or combines. Of that 65 percent, 67 percent identified John Deere as their primary brand.

By implementing this program, John Deere is hoping to simplify the livestock equipment purchasing process because livestock jobs are tough enough on their own.
