The 2011 Buffalo Area Christmas Parade, "A Patriotic Christmas," is set to take place on December 10, as used tractors will give rides, local police and fire departments will display their vehicles and youth organizations will show their group pride, according to Buffalo Reflex.

The news source reported that the parade's planning committee is now taking entries in several categories and has room for several types of floats, including both commercial and noncommercial versions. Car clubs and local school bands have been asked to participate.

According to the Reflex, the parade route will run right through the center of the city and will be led by the John Deere tractors and commercial floats. Right behind this procession will be the children's groups and local school bands that are participating.

A previous article from the Reflex noted that the parade will be led by Judy Hargis. She works at the neighborhood center in the city and has been a pivotal member of the planning committee for several years.
