A Southern New Jersey man and his small John Deere tractor take the biblical phrase 'Love thy neighbor' to a new level.

After the heavens blessed his Egg Harbor Township street with as much as 20 inches of snow on Sunday and Monday, Larry Strang attached a snowblower to the Deere tractor, mounted the machine and opened his neighbors' walkways and driveways by clearing  their property of the divine delivery.

"I enjoy helping people out," the 73-year-old told the Press of Atlantic City.

His neighbors enjoy and appreciate his thoughtfulness.

"I'm very grateful for it. It saved us hours of shoveling," neighbor James Cannone told the publication. "Everyone in the neighborhood appreciates him."

Having lost his left leg in a motorcycle crash nearly 40 years ago, Strang does not allow that limitation to keep him from driving, as the control pedals are on the right side. Nor will the injury discourage his helpful disposition.

"He's been doing it for so long, I almost take him for granted," neighbor Michael Morro told the publication. "He just does it and doesn't ask anything in return. It saved us a couple hours of digging easy."
