At Jim Krumnow's barn in Elmore, Ohio, one may find a variety of used tractors.

A recent story in the Port Clinton News Herald notes that Krumnow's collection started years ago when he bought his first John Deere tractor. He used the machine to take care of some gardening for both he and his grandmother.

Now, that one machine has turned into a hobby that has seen him collect 98 machines. Along the way, Krumnow stored the used tractors on a friend's property until he bought that as well and built a barn to house the collection.

"After I built this barn, things got kind of crazy," Krumnow told the paper. "The toy box got bigger, and I had to fill it."

The property has turned into a kind of used tractor retirement home, where people know their old, beloved machines will be kept and not sold. Krumnow said he plans on moving there when he retires and has plans to build a home of his own on the property.

While Krumnow has plans to eventually relax, other owners of antique used tractors take them to the streets as a feature of county festivals and parades.
