However, when Demers is not laboring away in the fields or tuning his used farm equipment, he spends his time pulling tractors that are injected with a fuel pump.

"This thing here was built solely for tractor pulling itself," Demers told CBS 14 about his second tractor that he reserves for the pulling competitions.

Demers has been a tractor enthusiast since the age of 14, when he began to teach himself the inner workings of the farm equipment. He split his time between the fields of his farm and the garage, where he tuned his John Deere for competitions, according to the news source.

He recently won the 8,200 pound diesel super stock class at this years Iowa State Fair. The event also featured smaller vehicles and events that showcased the heritage of John Deere products, and not just its power, according to the event website.
