To increase productivity during the workday, John Deere has rolled out the new Z955R ZTrak™ Zero-Turn Mower. This fuel-efficient machine is designed for commercial mowers who want more out of their equipment as they look to boost overall efficiency.

The Z955R comes with a 60-inch side-discharge deck and is powered by a 29-horsepower EFI engine. This large amount of horsepower allows the machine to tackle everything from material collection to mowing in a shorter period of time with less fuel.

"As any commercial landscaper knows, productivity and fuel efficiency are key factors that can impact the profitability of their business," said Natalie Haller, product manager, John Deere. "With the new Z955R mower, we are delivering another EFI model to our line-up that is designed to withstand the demands of a commercial landscape operation. From a reliable and powerful EFI engine to features that directly address and improve operator comfort, the Z955R machine is a productive solution for any commercial landscaper."

The Z955R also has two seat options with ComfortGlide™ suspension, which allows the seat to travel up to two inches fore and aft. It also absorbs vibration for a more comfortable ride.

The Comfort and Convenience package features padded, ergonomically-angled control levers, as well. Electronic controls allow the operator to raise and lower the deck, or disengage mower blades with a simple push of a button. Additionally, the Brake-N-Go machine starting system allows the operator to set the parking brake and turn the key to instantly start mowing.

The Z955R will be on display at the 2019 GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky from October 16 through October 18. More information about the mower can be found by visiting www.JohnDeere.com.
