John Deere has officially launched its second annual “Small Machines. Big Impact.” contest. Construction workers, landscapers, farmers and rental industry professionals are all encouraged to participate in the contest, which further drives people to make a positive impact on their communities.

From now through March 16, participants are encouraged to submit an entry discussing how a G-Series skid steer or CTL from Deere would help them make a difference in their neighborhood. Finalists will be selected by John Deere, and public voting will help determine the winner between June 4 and June 24. The winner will be crowned at the 2018 John Deere Classic on July 9.

"The overwhelming response to last year's contest showed us just how many people are out there making a positive difference in their communities — from building a community pool, assisting with disaster cleanup efforts or creating a neighborhood garden," said Graham Hinch, division manager of John Deere Commercial Worksite Products. "We are honored to play a role in helping and inspiring more people to create an impact in their own neighborhoods in 2018."

The winner will be able to select a model from the full portfolio of small, mid and large-frame G-Series skid steers and CTLs. Second and third place winners will receive a year-long lease on a G-Series skid steer or CTL. More information can be found by visiting www.JohnDeere.com.
