John Deere will be one of the many exhibitors on hand at the 62nd annual Farm Progress Show, slated for Sept. 1 through Sept. 3 in Decatur, Ill. The event is known as the largest outdoor farm equipment show in the U.S.

The goal of the Farm Progress Show is to offer an interactive, educational venue for North American and international farmers alike. New farm equipment, such as tractors and combines, will be on display at the show. The new John Deere 9RX Tractor, which was revealed on Aug. 25, will be one of the many machines at the event.

John Deere participated in the 61st annual Farm Progress Show last year, which took place in Boone, Ia. More than 600 exhibitors came together to show their latest machinery to attendees.

This year, there will be a slew of daily programs for visitors to attend, as well as expert presenters. Some of the programs scheduled to take place include a precision field demonstration and cattle handling demonstrations. Bryce Knoff, a Farm Futures senior grain analyst, is scheduled to present at multiple programs throughout the duration of the show.

Adult admission to the Farm Progress Show is $15, and $8 tickets are available to teens between the ages of 13 and 17. The first two days of the show will be hosted between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., while the last day will go from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
