John Deere has added a number of functions to its Facebook page, as the organization is looking to provide a forum for people who have used farm equipment from the company to offer their praise and suggestions, ClickZ reported.
According to the news outlet, Facebook users can express interest in specific models of farm equipment from the company, as they can fill in the blanks to tell John Deere how much they desire one of their products.
The brand started a campaign where its users can say which equipment they "want" or "own" from John Deere. This allows for a high level of company-to-customer interaction, allowing for a significant amount of feedback.
"[It] also supports John Deere's commitment to listening and responding to customer feedback," David Niederkorn, a marketing manager for John Deere, told ClickZ, adding "since fans will be able to share a wide range of testimonials and product feedback."
According to the company's Facebook page, there are a number of interactive games, challenges and testimonials that fans can click through when filling out which model they want.
